NIKE SWIM

African American children drown at a rate 3X greater than their Caucasian peers and 70% of African American can’t swim at all. I believe it’s time to remedy this issue and Nike (partnering with NYC Department of Parks) could change these numbers (at least in NYC). This spec campaign aims to inspire and empower, to move kids self-identification from victim to master, in turn mastering their fear and the world… either above or below the water.

MASTER THE ELEMENT CONTENT

Around the world there are Black people and people of color who make their living in and around the water. For these people, mastering the element of water is natural. I envision a content series that shows how these varied people live and play as one with the water.
